Your support of the National Coalition To End The Confederacy (NCEC) will assist in our effort to finally end the Civil War. Although the Confederate army was defeated and dissolved in 1865, the "war" against the descendants of African slaves has continued in different forms that include, denial of educational opportunities, denial of the right to vote, unequal justice by law enforcement and courts and limited economic opportunity. These monuments and other commemorations of the war fought to expand and maintain the inhumane institution of slavery have reinforced the notion of white supremacy and taught generations of Americans to be bigoted and racist.
